That doesn’t mean they can come to the dam with bare hands. No rent service is available to get the fishing rod, so tourists should have prepared one before fishing in the dam. It is even allowed to carry a grill and cook the fish right on the spot.
It is true the dam has lots of fishes in it. However, it is not easy to catch them. To increase the chance, tourists should choose the best spot and use the right bait. Have no worries. How to Get There
The distance between Karang Intan Dam and Martapura City is 18.2 km. That means travelers need to take about 35 minutes to get to the location. It can even be faster if they take PM Noor Street! For those coming from Banjarbaru, though, they need to spend about 45-50 minutes to reach the site (by motorcycle).
